Shut-off valves are used to stop the flow of bulk materialsned as butterfly valves with a disc rotating around a central axis. The material design and sealing type are selected according to the intended application and the properties of the conveyed medium. Thanks to their double-flange design, the inlet and outlet sections can be connected independently to the valve.

In versions equipped with pneumatic or electric actuators, the valves are fitted with mechanical or inductive end-position sensors. In manually operated versions, the operating lever is provided with a locking mechanism.
