A silo equipped with electrically controlled components (dust filter, fluidization system, level probes, filling pipe shut-off valve, pressure sensors, etc.) can be operated either from a higher-level control system or by means of a separate control system. The basis of the silo control system is a control panel to which all controlled components are connected via the silo's electrical installation. The information outputs of the silo control cabinet include a line display and indicator lights, or, where required, a horn with a warning beacon for warning signals. The control panel can be used separately for each silo or jointly for multiple silos by connecting additional higher-level control units.
